Tournament Club of Iowa

Saylorville Lake

an outdoor adventure placed in the midst of an urban landscape just minutes from Polk City. The lake is located 10 miles north of Des Moines, Iowa, 6,000 acres of water and 20,000 acres of public land offer camping, biking, boating, fishing, wildlife viewing, and more.

Big Creek State Park

The focal point of the 3,550 acre Big Creek State Park is an 866 acre lake surrounded by outdoor recreation facilities. A 1300 foot beach, playground, disc golf, model airplane control field, snowmobile trail, baseball diamond, and open space provide for a wide variety of activities. Big Creek Lake’s clear water provides great family swimming for free. There are picnic tables and shelters located around the lake. Rental canoes, paddleboats, sailboats, fishing boats and large pontoon boats are available for visitors.

Jester Park

Jester Park is located five miles west of Polk City. Diverse recreational experiences await visitors of all ages on 1,834 acres of land. Jester Park is your recreation destination. Spend a day hiking the trails, fishing, picnicking, using the playground, wildlife viewing, golfing, or horseback riding.
